When our dedication to put everything into our work started to realize, we encountered a “Dream Client” who put their trust, to building their Mumbai Office, into our hands. A client who appreciated our creativity, guided us through its visions for their new space and supported us through the journey to build a different “flavored” office. Unifi Capital, headquartered in Chennai, moved their Mumbai set-up to Marathon Futurex, where they wanted to thrive in their own space within their own cultured environment, and it was an honor to build up that space for them.
Working with Unifi Capital team was a smooth sailing journey rooted with professionalism and discipline. The site enfolded some very precious elements which the client wanted to retain, almost “as is” – The Industrial feel of the decking sheets’ slab and the I-Section network of beams and columns. That was the design brief – to highlight these elements on a subtle backdrop of the office.
We created themes making sure the slab and the column-beam structure were exposed to the fullest with a pastel palette and highlighters in the form of natural greens and glimpses of the bright colors derived from the logo color. The set-up was created to achieve the seriousness of the business but also maintain the musts of the young staff – with coffee nooks and soundproof phone booths. A small break under a green vine canopy with an infinite view of the city skyline – what more to feel relaxed! The office entrance flaunted the strength of the company by a robust steel plating panel, camouflaging the steel finished door that withheld the drama within the space.

The on-site teamwork, weekly client meets with their inputs, minimal deviations from initial project plans and quick decisions with quick implementations made this project as one of those, which brings you immense satisfaction as a design and build team; and the client reflects the feeling!
